I wouldn’t have held back from educating the kids mentioned in this piece. A lot of kids (mostly those whose parents don’t have to struggle to put the roof over their heads) display an annoying sense of proprietary entitlement where things that they like to read / watch / play are concerned.

This is mostly because they don’t understand how the world actually works. They haven’t had to find that out… yet…
