I’ve thought about a Tip Jar / Donate button… Goddess knows that I don’t get more than a few pence from book sales – in a recent promotion on Amazon, I had 14 sales over 6 days (which is great for me, don’t get me wrong) but the sales price was set at 0.99 p deliberately.
14 x 0.99 = approx £13
Had I priced it at normal cost… 14 x 2.99 = £41.00
I had a specific reason to price it that low – I was trying to attract more readers for it. I don’t do free so 0.99 is the lowest I go.
Oh well.

It’s funny, at various junctures I’ve felt propelled to tackle certain topics, even when that made me very unpopular. My biggest leviathan to date has been this notion of artists being expected to work for free, and I believe the reason that this topic is weighing so heavily on me is that, for the first time in years I’m no longer enthusiastic about our future.
In fact, I’m downright frightened, because of THIS.
