2019- Happy New Year!

Yes I know, I’m a day late with the whole “Happy New Year” blog post…

(sorry, not sorry)

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I always resolve to blog more often, to publish more books and reach deadlines in an effort to become more productive.

And it always fails…

It doesn’t fail because I’m not trying or because I don’t put the effort in.

It fails because I try too hard and burn out too fast. I make myself sick just looking at the list of “to publish” and the work that it will require and I get anxious, then I get headaches and before I know what’s happening, I’ve been forced to take a break from writing and I can’t catch back up with myself. I don’t let myself rest – I have other responsibilities than just writing and publishing after all!

So this year, in the words of Calvin & Hobbes…

… I’m going to WING IT!

I’m going to relax and just work on whatever I feel like. I have enough half finished stories and books to choose from and I also have a number of illustration projects that I want to do, so I won’t need to set deadlines, I’m just going to finish them as and when.

The only time I will be counting my words is for Camp NaNo or NaNoWriMo and even then, I’m not going to sweat it if I don’t make my goal. I need to be kind to myself!

It’s just as well that I don’t have any employees; I’d be the worst boss ever!

So when I have News to share, I’ll tell you. When there’s a book or something I want to tell you about coming out, there’ll be:

1. a Blog Post – Here of course…
2. a Post on my Patreon Page,
3. a Post on my Author Facebook Page
4. a Post on the Facebook Fan Page
5. a Post on the Teigr Books Facebook Page
6. And if I remember to do it… Instagram

And everything that gets published on Here gets automatically posted to:

1. Google +
2. Tumblr
3. Twitter

So there’s plenty of places that you can keep up with my doings.

I am not going to promise or guarantee anything either – what with my family and my other responsibilities, I can’t say for definite that whatever I plan to do in my writing life ever gets done; however I do promise that I will try to keep everyone up to date!
